UK Psychoactive Substances Ban Loophole?

So a recent product hit the market.  1PD  (1P-LSD in 10mcg dosed portions)

Since 1PD is supplied in 10mcg sub-perceptual doses, it cannot be considered psychoactive under the definition of the Psychoactive Substances Act - meaning this product is considered legal in the UK!

So this would mean that selling sub-perceptual pre-dosed portions of a compound as a nootropic supplement circumvent the PSA.

Of course you will have to say on packaging *1 pellet/pill = 1 serving* and state on the packaging not to take more than 1 dose per day or something to that effect.

Due to quantities involved in production of these manufacture in the UK would still be illegal, so would need to be produced abroad.

Forgive my ignorance on the definition of psychoactive within the terms of the Psychoactive Substances Act, but where would we stand with substances other than psychedelics? Could this then be applied to any type of substance, so long as it falls well below the active dose range?

yes but what you need to keep in mind is that it can only be used for chems that are not illegal under the misuse of drugs act!

I've gotta read up a little more, been out of the loop for a few years regarding legality on them, but i thought Amyl Nitrates were not legal.  At least after only seeing Aryl, butyl or isopropyl nitrates (iirc, this off the top of my drunk head) in stores since then.

Then again, I still know local stores selling 'branded' garb that contains 4-MMC, 4-MEC, 3-MMC, Ethylphenidate or 5/6-(m)APB under the counter.  I might be out of the loop.

They fall under the Medicines Act 1968, the same old 'Not for human consumption' nonsense. Amyl nitrite itself is banned across Europe, but there are others such as Isoproyl nitrite and Isobutyl nitrite that I think were common when I bought them a few years back. They can make a meph buzz pretty fun.

The 'indirect' influence on the cns might be able to be applied in other areas. I believe caffiene itself only indirectly affects dopamine function. Many plants managed to avoid the ban also, such as Valerian which affects serotonin and GABA, as well as Ginseng which is a fairly potent stimulant. Pretty sure there could be some botanical extracts that might avoid the ban as aromas, etc.
